The Famous Cottage Cheese Ice Cream
The famous cheese ice cream is here and I am ALL FOR IT. It’s easy, delicious, full of protein and can be made however you want! Check out my twist on the recipe below and some fun flavor combo’s that are mouth-watering goodness & super easy to whip up!
The Base of the Cottage Cheese Ice Cream:
What you need:
2 cups cottage cheese (I like Daisy Cottage Cheese or Good Culture Cottage Cheese, found at most grocery stores!)
1/4 cup maple syrup or honey (I like to use pure/natural options)
1/2 Tbsp vanilla extract
Optional: scoop of collagen or protein powder (flavor of choice or unflavored)
Directions:
Throw all ingredients into food processor or blender.
Add in any flavor idea’s or combo’s you’d like.
Blend until smooth.
Scoop out into glass container and top with extra goodness.
Place in freezer till hardened - your desired texture/thickness.
Scoop and enjoy! ッ
Store leftovers in glass container in fridge or freezer!
Flavor Combo Ideas:
Simply Vanilla = just the base as listed above ッ
Simply Chocolate = the base + 2 tbsp cacao powder ッ
Banana Pudding (pictured above):
1 frozen banana (blended in, step 2-3)
1 tbsp natural nut butter (blended in, step 2-3)
1 diced banana (add in during step 4)
1-2 Tbsp natural nut butter swirled in (add in during step 4)
Siete cookies crushed on top (add in during step 4 and can top after serving too)
Double Chocolate:
2 Tbsp unsweetened cacao powder (blended in, step 2-3)
1/4 cup chocolate chips (blended in, step 2-3)
Handful of chocolate chips (added in during step 4)
Chocolate Peanut Butter (pictured above):
2 Tbsp unsweetened cacao powder (blended in, step 2-3)
1/4 cup chocolate chips (blended in, step 2-3)
2 tbsp nut butter (blended in, step 2-3)
Handful of chocolate chips (added in during step 4)
1 Tbsp almond butter swirled in (add in during step 4)
Fruity Ice Cream of Choice: berries, strawberries, cherries, mango, ect..
1 1/2 cups fruit of choice (blended in, step 2-3)
Siete Cookies crushed on top (add in during step 4 and can top after serving too)
Chocolate Brownie Chunks:
*For this, make the base. Then mix ingredients below together in a separate bowl. Crumble chunks in during step 4.
1/4 cup almond flour
1 Tbsp unsweetened cacao powder
1 Tbsp natural nut butter
1 Tbsp pure maple syrup
Cookie Dough (pictured above):

1/4 cup almond flour or oat flour (I like Bob’s Red Mill Brand! almond flour or oat flour
Handful chocolate chips
1 Tbsp natural nut butter
1 Tbsp pure maple syrup
1/2 tsp vanilla extract
Snickers:
4-5 whole pitted dates (blended in, step 2-3)
1/2 cup peanuts (blended in, step 2-3)
1/4 cup chocolate chips (blended in, step 2-3)
Melted chocolate to drizzle on top (added in during step 4)
Crushed peanuts to sprinkle on top (added in during step 4)
Extra Notes:
Specific brands I use are linked above in either the base or flavor options - will be italicized + underlined for you ッ
Can store leftovers in glass container in fridge and then when ready to eat, scoop some out and place in freezer to let harden.
OR you can totally store ice cream in freezer and take it out to let de-thaw a bit before scooping a dish and enjoying!
Feel free to add on extra ice cream toppings of you’d like during blending process or to top with when serving like melted chocolate, hot fudge, nuts, sprinkles, crushed cookies, crushed siete cookies, graham crackers, ECT!
