Sports Performance Training
BACKGROUND
I was a competitive athlete growing up, participating in soccer, basketball and volleyball. I later went onto play D1 collegiate basketball at Valparaiso University where I became one of the top 3 VU players to finish with +400 pt, +200 rebounds in a single season, was named VU-WBB MVP and selected as a candidate for Top Female Athlete. During my collegiate career I suffered severe knee injuries, tearing my ACL and meniscus & putting me in and out of surgeries, limiting my freshman and sophomore seasons. Looking back, I’m thankful for those moments. It’s shaped my passion for sports performance and opened up many opportunities to further help and support athletes walking through similar journeys.
After college I went on to become a strength and conditioning coach. I have trained a variety of athletes ranging from basketball, volleyball, softball, baseball, soccer, diving, swimming, water polo, track & field + more. I’ve worked in sports performance at Valparaiso University, Indiana University and later at a Sports Medicine Center. I now currently train athletes of various sports in person and online via Add to Life.

Sports Performance Training is designed for all athletes and sports. We work with individual athlete’s and sport teams looking to improve their overall performance and athleticism. This unique training program will be customized to the needs of your sport/team/individual, in order to maximize performance and decrease risk of injury.

Training sessions take place in Cissna Park, IL! If you are not near to the area, we also work with athlete remotely via online training app!
HOW IT WORKS:
Once I receive your message of interest, we will further connect via email, phone call or video chat. During this time we will go over various information, needs, and goals to make sure your team or individual training is designed, in the best possible way, to maximize performance and improve overall athleticism.

PROGRAM LENGTH:
4-week phases dependent upon time of year and athlete’s sport session schedule. Continued 4 week phases following initial phase.
Pre-Season:
movement, mobility, recovery work
intense speed, agility, quickness along with strength and conditioning training to prepare for upcoming season
In-Season:
movement, mobility, recovery work
speed, agility, explosive power, strength training
Off-Season:
movement, mobility, recovery work
